Menu – Events
The Menu Events shows the log of all events that were detected by the cameras or have happened with the cameras. This includes the Sensor Events, the events can be Object Detection, Face Detection, Motion, Intrusion Detection, and Line Crossing. The events log does not specifically tell which type of object was detected but rather tell the event type, to filter the events based on object please use the Event Menu in the Video Portal.To view an event log within a selected timeframe, first, select either By Time or By Period on the top of the page and then select the date range to review the events using the From and the To range. Then click on the date to open the calendar and select the desired date range.
You can also choose the columns which should be visible on the page for the event, the columns can be increased or decreased by clicking on the Columns drop-down menu and then checking or unchecking the column names. Selected columns are visible.
Events can be sorted using any of the columns. Clicking on the up-down arrow to the right of the column name will make the column the active column and will sort the events based on it.
To remove all the filters use Reset settings to restore the default view of the events list. Users can also use Reset filters to clear any filters that were previously inputted.
