Customized Branding
With included cobranding you can modify the following elements of the login pages:
- Upload your own logo
- Change the background color
- Favicon
- Set up a custom sub-domain to match your own or your Customer's branding
- Modify colors and content of the welcome and alert emails.
- Create custom co-branding for every customer
3dEYE will still be seen in the URL and the copyright will be present in various places.
No extra fees are charged for such customization.
Example:https://demoportal.3deye.me/
The very first step is that the integrator needs to submit a request to change the URLs. This will take up to 1 business day. Once this is done the integrator will be able to reconfigure the branding page.
Also, the cobranding is available for both levels: Integrator and customer. If the cobranding is done to their main integrator it will propagate to all customers unless a separate branding is configured for a specific customer, but if cobranding is configured for an individual customer then this won't propagate to all other customers and will affect only the selected customer. This is mostly important for emails (letters) which are specifically directed to the customer or integrator clients.
Step 1: Go to the Branding Page
Customize the Portal accordingly by going to the Branding section under the user account information.
Under the Branding Section, there are 8 tabs
Step 2: Select the General Tab
Here the customer can customize the Company Name as the Product Name or can change it to something else. This is the name that will be shown on the Branded emails, Admin Portal, or Video Portal.
Step 3: Select the Admin Portal Tab
The Admin portal tab lets you choose the link for the admin portal by raising a URL change request. Once the request is approved the user can customize the login page.
Step 4: Requesting the URL change
To access the URL change Request form, click on "change" next to Admin Portal URL heading and this will open up a pop up.
In the pop up enter the new URLs for the Admin Portal, Video Portal and the Alarm Station.
Please note that the "3deye.me" will still be a part of the new URL.
Also, the Custom URLs can be accessed by any customer even if the URL is not "assigned" to them and the user will be able to see the design that was created for a specific URL even if the user belongs to a customer who has their own cobranding.
Step 5: Setting up the Video Portal
Just like the Admin Portal, customers can customize the video portal once the request is approved.
Step 6: Customizing the Letter
Letter branding allows customers to customize the email sent from the 3dEYE server according to their preference. The Customer can enable or disable the letter branding at any time without raising a request. If the Letter Branding is disabled then the default 3dEYE layout will be in effect.
The customer can change the Header of the email to a user-defined logo or text or can completely remove it. Similarly, the footer can be modified.
The link to the mobile app can also be redirected using a custom app link.
Step 7: Customizing the Shared Page
The Shared page branding allows the user to customize the page which will be shared with other users or non-users of 3dEYE via a link or email. The shared page will allow the recipient to watch the camera clip.
Note: When sharing content from the 3dEYE platform, the link that is generated depends on the customer to whom the camera belongs. For example, if you share content from a Branded customer, the link will use Branded video portal URL. However, if you share content from an account that doesn't have any branding, it will default to our standard video portal URL.
The appearance and features of the portal are also linked to the URL. By changing the prefix of the URL, you can modify the branding and customize the features of the portal. That means if the branded URL is replaced by the 3dEYE URL then the branding will be removed from the link. However, it's important to note that the accessible cameras are not affected by the URL or branding changes.
Additionally, when sending alerts, the link included in the alert will depend on the branding of the customer to whom the camera belongs. This ensures that the branding remains consistent throughout the user experience.
In summary, the link generated when sharing content, the appearance and features of the portal, and the link included in alerts all depend on the customer's branding and the URL associated with their account. The ability to customize the branding and features of the portal is tied to the URL prefix, while camera accessibility remains independent of these changes.
