Introduction
The NextGen Monitoring Portal is a next-generation solution designed to enhance monitoring operations with unmatched interactivity, efficiency, and analytics. Organizations upgrading to NextGen will benefit from modernized workflows, faster response times, and improved investigation capabilities.
Site setup
Supervisors can manage Sites and Customers directly in the portal. This includes naming the site, linking it to a customer, and ensuring cameras are properly added through the monitoring portal. Also, here supervisors can configure rules, schedules and standard operating procedures for each site.
At the moment, however, assigning sites to Operators or linking Customers to Managers is handled by our team. We will complete those assignments during the initial setup until the feature is released for supervisors to manage independently. Once the desired structure of sites and customers is established provide us with a list of users and sites they should be monitoring and we will finalize the setup for you.
For initial setup, please provide:
The names of the sites and emails of operators that should be monitoring these sites.
Note: One site can be assigned to multiple operators and one operator can be assigned to multiple sitesThe names of the Customers and emails of managers that should have access to these customers.
Note: One customer can be assigned to multiple managers and one manager can be assigned to multiple customers.
Once sites are created, Supervisors can log in and view or manage them, but user-to-site assignments will be configured by our support team during this phase.
To go to Sites, log in to https://monitoring.3deye.app/ using the Supervisor credentials. Then click on the "Sites" Icon
Once you are in the Sites Tab, you'll see the tab name Sites is opened in the Top Bar . The screen will be similar to the screenshot below with your sites in it.
The Sites tab allows you to view, edit, arm, and disarm all monitoring locations associated with your account. Follow these steps to navigate and manage your sites effectively.
Note: Creation of new sites and editing of existing sites can be done only by users who were assigned as supervisors.
